Remove text from an image
Brush over the words, lift the brush, and the spot is filled in from the pixels around it. Works for dates, captions and logos on photos you own.
Paint over the text, then lift the brush.
How to use it
- Choose a photo or drop it onto the page.
- Paint over the text. Cover a little past the edge of each letter.
- Lift the brush. The painted area fills in after a moment.
- Use Undo if a pass looks smudged, then download the result.
Tips
- Do long lines of text in two or three short strokes.
- The fill blends the surrounding colors, so it works best on plain or softly textured areas. Busy patterns, faces and other writing under the text will look smoothed.
- Photos wider than 2000 px are scaled down to keep editing fast.
Only use this on images you own or have permission to edit.
